The FISCHER® EMS – 250/SR is a modular mixer-settler system for liquid-liquid extraction in the laboratory. Thanks to screw stirrers at each stage, the system allows precise phase mixing and is particularly suitable for applications with metal salts, density-changing reactions, or systems with low surface tension.
The number of stages can be flexibly expanded (up to 10 stages in the standard stand) - each with its own temperature and pH measurement (optionally ATEX-compliant) and stirrer motor (optionally ATEX-compliant). The throughput is max. 5 l/h, with a stage volume of 250 ml and a stage efficiency of up to 95 %.
The results are extremely scalable and therefore also suitable for R&D, scale-up or process development in the chemical, metallurgical, raw materials processing or pharmaceutical industries.
The complete system consists of components made of borosilicate glass 3.3 and PTFE - ideal for low-maintenance continuous operation.
