ILUDEST® The AUSB-05 liquid-liquid extraction system operates according to the countercurrent principle and uses a pulsed column with sieve trays or optional packing. The pulsation continuously pushes the liquid phases through the "screens," dispersing one phase into the other in the form of extremely fine droplets. This creates a particularly large contact surface and ensures effective mass transfer—ideal for systems with short settling times.
Typical areas of application are in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, process development and education. The system processes substance systems such as water-acetone-toluene or water-acetic acid-iso-propyl ether at ambient temperatures of up to 90 °C.
The user can use adjustable pumps and overflow technology to position the phase boundary in a targeted manner - either with heavy or light phase as a dispersed component. Numerous connection ports and optional measurement technology enable individual expansion.
